Helping Hand 50:50 Club

HELPING HANDS, the 50:50 club of the Catholic Children’s Society in the diocese of Plymouth is a simple and effective way of raising funds for the Society. Half of the money raised by subscriptions is retained by the Society for the benefit of our Patchwork and Grant Giving programmes, and the other half is returned to members as prize money. For example if we have £200 in subscriptions from members then £100 would be used to help a child in need and the other £100 will be distributed as prizes, say as a £50 first prize, £30 second prize and £20 third prize. The distribution of the prize money will be determined each time by the number of members in the draw.

It costs £12 a year for one entry into all draws. You can enter each draw more than once by increasing your subscription to £24 for two entries, £36 for three and so on. If your name is lucky enough to be drawn out we will send you a cheque. All winners will also be displayed on our website.

To start your HELPING HANDS membership, all you need to do is complete this form. Payment can be made by cheque or in monthly instalments by standing order. Please return the form to St Boniface House, Ashburton, TQ13 7JL. Please make cheques payable to Catholic Children’s Society (Plymouth).
