This year’s Annual Appeal falls on the weekend of 26th and 27th August 2023 and packs will soon be sent to every parish in the Diocese, which include a poster, a QR code for quick and easy payments and a number of appeal envelopes. This year, to reduce our costs, we are not producing leaflets with a tear off envelope as we feel that the money could be better spent helping families in need.
Once again, this year’s Annual Appeal is being launched during a very challenging economic situation as many families are finding themselves in great hardship due to the rising cost of living. We continue to respond to increasing numbers of people applying for support to meet their basic needs but the increased demand means that our funds are being depleted.

How to make a donation
As well as making a donation using the Annual Appeal envelopes being sent to all parishes, donations can also be made via our Crowdfunding page and we acknowledge all donations as some parishioners have mentioned a reluctance to donate online.
