During advent, one of the younger parishioners at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Weymouth made decorations out of paracord and decided to sell them in aid of CCSP. This wonderful act of kindness raised an amazing amount of £561.50 !
Shona made circles, hearts and candy twists and people were invited to buy them in memory of their loved ones. The decorations were then placed on the church Christmas trees and on Saturday, 21st December, a mass was said for all those loved ones on the Memory Trees.
Thank you Shona for this beautiful idea and to all the parishioners for their support in raising such a fantastic amount of money, which will be used to help children who are in need of the most basic essentials.
