Our ‘Rise to Our Cause’ event at Buckfast Abbey on Ascension Thursday, 18 May 2023 was a great success.
It was a wonderful opportunity for so many of our loyal supporters to come together to celebrate Holy Mass in the Abbey followed by enjoying a superb meal together.
Guests then had the joy of listening to Rear Admiral Chris Snow CBE, the Deputy Lieutenant of Devon who talked about his role assisting the Lord-Lieutenant of Devon, who is His Majesty the King’s personal representative in the county.
Andrea Rodgers, our Acting Chair also gave a talk about how we help children and families of all faiths and none in the Diocese.
A fantastic time was had by all, and thanks to the generous donations from so many local attractions in our Diocese, over £450 was raised for CCSP.
