We have just heard the wonderful news that we have been successful in our application for a £10,000 grant from the ‘Day for Life’ Fund. This fund is administered by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, which is a permanent assembly of Catholic Bishops in the two countries.
‘Day for Life’ is the day in the Catholic Church’s year dedicated to celebrating and upholding the dignity of human life – held this year on Sunday, 16 June 2024. The Church teaches that life should be protected and nurtured from conception to natural death and organisations whose work strives to uphold the Church’s commitment, were encouraged to apply.
Thank you to all the generous contributors to the ‘Day for Life’ fund who have ensured that this important work continues so that the Catholic Church in England and Wales is able to fund the work of charities like ours.
