We are delighted to report that we have now spent all £10,000 of the ‘Day for Life’ funding we received last October. We were able to supply 27 grants to families with unborn babies and newborns up to the age of one years old. We helped 64 children and 37 adults who were in the most desperate need of our financial support and purchased 57 items including –
7 fridge/freezers
7 cookers
9 washing machines
7 beds and mattresses
3 items of essential furniture
8 sets of clothing
2 prams
6 newborn equipment
We have just submitted another application for more funding next year and we cannot thank the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales enough for their continued support.
