We are always approaching new and existing grant funders to help us with our Essential Grants programme (EGP) as we are receiving an unprecedented number of applications. In the first seven months of this year, we received 182 applications from families of all faiths and none compared to 143 in 2025 and we even had to suspend the EGP for half of May so it could have been even more !
Luckily, thanks to recent grants of £2,000 from Laing Family Trusts, £1,000 from the Angela Gallagher Fund, £3,000 from the Gibbons Trust and £5,000 from The Norman Family Trust, we should not have to suspend the EGP again this year hopefully as these grants will enable up to top up our usual monthly spend.
