We also received this large box of beautiful knitted and crocheted baby blankets, cardigans, hats and mittens yesterday, plus a rather super teddy from the wonderful parish of the Assumption of Our Lady in Tavistock.
In particular, one blanket really stood out, as beautiful animal faces had been lovingly stitched onto some of the squares ! We got straight to work and sent out three small parcels to families with a newborn baby whose parents had applied to us for an Essential Grant.
Thank you so much to all the avid knitters in the parish at Tavistock your kindness will help so many families who are really struggling at the moment.
