Thank you to everyone who joined us back in May for this year’s ‘Rise To Our Cause’ event at St Cuthbert Mayne in Launceston. It was so lovely to meet new faces as we travel round the Diocese each year for our annual Ascension Day fundraiser.
Over £600 was raised, which is absolutely fantastic thank you. Special thanks to our Guest Speaker – Phil McCarthy whose presentation on his own pilgrimages to Rome and Istanbul delighted everyone there. And also to Fr John for allowing us to use his beautiful church and church hall afterwards and especially to Marie and her team of helpers – Cath and Pamela – for preparing and serving the most delicious curries and puddings.
